Amna Mustabeen Baig, the first Pakistani to work at Koenigsegg Automotive as a Manufacturing Engineer which is a male-dominated industry. Amna Baig joined this field to challenge gender stereotypes to augment women’s roles and respect in the automotive industry.
The Swedish automaker Koenigsegg is well known for manufacturing the world’s fastest hypercars costing about $3 million. Baig has more than three years of experience working as an automotive engineer. She has also worked for other well-known Swedish automotive companies such as Volvo Trucks and Scania.
Amna has a Master’s degree in Business Management from the United Kingdom and a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Sweden. She is also fluent in 3 languages i.e. Urdu, English & Swedish.
Moreover, Amna frequently guides Pakistani youth including girls to empower themselves by choosing such a rare field that will deliver skills related to supercars that they can’t learn in Pakistan.
