Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Mohammed Qasim Khan was hearing a case regarding outstanding dues which were supposed to be paid by the Punjab Government to Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA)
Punjab Chief Secretary Jawad Rafique was not present during hearing, due to his absence Chief Justice Muhamamd Qasim Khan ordered Punjab Chief Secretary to present a written explanation for his absence in previous hearing.
Upon knowing that Chief Secretary couldn’t appear before Court due to his meeting with Corps Commander, Chief Justice LHC issued a notice requiring complete details of that meeting including agenda and decision taken in that meeting.
