Petroleum prices around the world are a key factor to determine the economical condition and price control. Moreover, these prices affect the lifestyle of buyers and sellers.
For a country like Pakistan where the majority of people struggle to earn a fair amount of salary along with manage their expenses along with savings, control over petroleum prices is something that portrays the performance of government administration.
These differences in brent crude and petroleum prices between PTI and PDM administration show which government’s policies were prosperous for the people of Pakistan.
Doing Imran Khan’s government in March 2022, brent crude per barrel was $133. However, the PTI administration controlled petrol prices maintaining the price of Rs 149 per litre. Now in October 2022, brent crude is $86 per barrel, but under the PDM administration, the people of Pakistan are buying petrol at Rs 225 per litre.
