Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ex-wife Jemima Goldsmith was interviewed by BBC’s Emb Hashmi for her fundraising campaign to help Pakistan’s flood relief operation. The BBC host asked Jamima if she can sing a song in Urdu.
Jemima Goldsmith then recalled a memory of her when she along with her ex-husband Imran Khan used to sing for their children “aw bacho tum ko karaye sair Pakistan ke, jis ki khatir hum ne de qurbani lakho jan ke”.
Pakistanis are enjoying her kind gesture for Pakistan. Social media is admiring her accent and pronunciation of Urdu as close to perfect. Jemima has always been vocal regarding her love for Pakistan. Some said Jamima’s Urdu is better than Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s Urdu.
