France to court martial military officers for Islamist civil war letter

French government is going to court martial retired and serving French military officials who were found guilty for signatories of controversial letter.
18 military personnel including 4 ranking officers where found guilty for their attempt to create civil war, said French Chief of Defence Staff.

In 2016 a letter was initiated by retired gendarmerie officer Jean-Pierre Fabre-Bernadac which proved his involvement in anti migrant really in Calais, resulting in his arrest. The letter also showed signatures of over 8000 serving and retired military personnel including 28 Generals, 125 Lieutenant Colonels and 60 Colonels and captains.

French Chief of Defence Staff also added these Generals will present themselves before Higher Military Court and their verdict will be signed by President of the Republic.

The letter was meant to target Islam and war torn countries with large number of migrants who were labelled as enemies of France. The letter also had reviews on recent attacks in France, in that letter those attacks were affiliated with Islam, including murder of a school teacher for showing blasphemous cartoon.
