In a surprising turn of events in the Tosha Khana Case, former Prime Minister Imran Khan has made a bold move by requesting the court to summon his former military secretary, Brigadier Wasim Cheema, as a witness. This request comes amidst the ongoing legal proceedings against Khan in connection with the Tosha Khana gifts.
Brigadier Wasim Cheema holds a significant position in this case, as he served as the military secretary for not one but two prime ministers of Pakistan. He initially worked as military secretary for former PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and later continued in the same role for Imran Khan until the year 2020.
During the session at the court today, former PM Imran Khan emphasized the role of his military secretary in managing matters related to the Tosha Khana gifts. Khan stated, “The Military Secretary was responsible for handling the affairs concerning my Tosha Khana gifts, and if the court wishes to investigate, I am prepared to present him as my witness.”
