Wagner Chief Prigozhin, Who Led A Coup Against Putin Died In A Plane Crash

Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Russian mercenary organization Wagner, has tragically passed away in what is being reported as a ‘plane crash’. Notably, just last month, Prigozhin had spearheaded a failed uprising against President Putin, with his units even advancing close to Moscow.

The demise of Prigozhin occurred as his private jet crashed in the Tver region of Russia. Interestingly, various Wagner group telegram channels have been pointing fingers at the Russian Airforce, alleging their involvement in the downing of the private aircraft.

It’s worth mentioning that Prigozhin’s death closely follows the timeline of his mutiny attempt against President Putin, taking place precisely two months after the ill-fated uprising. The circumstances surrounding his passing and the connection to his recent actions have left many questions unanswered.
