Iran issued a warning that Israel’s attacks on Hamas would escalate, causing more harm to civilians and leading to a larger conflict. Gaza officials reported airstrikes near hospitals. Israeli attacks have martyred 10,000 civilians which is more than 90% of total deaths in Gaza War
According to Reuters, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian’s comments could increase concerns about Washington’s efforts and the deployment of US naval forces in the eastern Mediterranean. Already around 50 attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria have been reported in response to the US support for Israel.
There’s uncertainty about preventing further destabilization in the Middle East. Yemen’s Houthis have already announced their entry in Gaza War.
During a call with Qatar’s Sheikh Mohammed, Amir-Abdollahian stated that the increasing intensity of the war against Gaza’s civilians makes the expansion of the conflict inevitable. Iran’s state-run Press TV reported these comments from the Thursday night telephone conversation on Friday.
Amir-Abdollahian’s statement regarding the inevitable expansion of the conflict remains ambiguous. The leaders of Muslim nations are set to convene urgently in Riyadh on November 12, aiming to establish a collective stance against the ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza and West Bank.
Taking to the social media platform X on Thursday, Amir-Abdollahian expressed a sense of urgency, asserting, “Tel Aviv’s crimes cannot persist for much longer.” In a conclusive remark, he emphasized, “Undoubtedly, the future belongs to Palestine.”
The toll of the conflict is distressing, with Israel having reportedly claimed the lives of more than 10,812 individuals, including 4,412 children and 2,918 women, while leaving 26,905 wounded. Disturbingly, reports from the Palestinian Ministry of Health and international organizations indicate that a significant portion of the casualties comprises women and children. Many Hospitals have been targeted during the war, which has resulted in collapse of health system in Gaza.
