Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on the leaders of Malaysia and Qatar to discuss situation in Palestine and the recent attacks on Masjid Al-Aqsa by Israeli occupation forces. Turkey expressed concerns on violence against Palestinians.
In a telephonic conversation between Erdogan and the King of Malaysia Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, Erdogan encouraged unity to end Israeli oppression of Palestine and attacks on Masjid Al-Aqsa.
Similarly, Erdogan and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed the same issue, Erdogan discussed Palestine and need of Turkey and Qatar’s joint efforts to mobilise countries in this part of the continent.
