After Dhurandhar, Gulf States Banned Border 2 For Anti Pakistan Propaganda

ISLAMABAD: Sunny Deol’s upcoming war film Border 2 has been banned in six Gulf countries. The affected states include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Authorities barred the film from theatrical release. Officials cited content seen as anti-Pakistan.

The decision came days before the film’s scheduled premiere. Filmmakers failed to secure certification.

Industry sources said regulators objected to sensitive portrayals. These were linked to India-Pakistan conflicts. The ban follows a similar move against Dhurandhar earlier this year.

Border 2 is the second major Bollywood film to face restrictions. Gulf authorities remain cautious over political content and propaganda.
