Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan warned the United Nations that its silence will create another force which will be called The Muslim United Nations to halt the worst hostilities between Israel and Palestine and would guide initiative to end the violence once and for all.
Repeatedly calling out Israel’s atrocities in Jerusalem and Gaza and labelling Israel a terror state, President Erdogan said he had discussed this genocide with the leaders and governments of 19 countries.
The UN Security Council must act quickly to ensure peace, violence against Palestinian people must come to an end, Erdogan said. He said that the 57 Islamic Cooperation Organizations that designed themselves with the popular voice of the Islamic world must take action. If the United Nations does not take a concrete and effective action immediately, we will deny its existence and form our own Muslim United Nations, the idea which is supported by Pakistan and Malaysia.
