Waseem Rizvi former Chairman Shia Education Board in India, has filed a petition in local Indian court, which says he made a new Quran and removed 26 verses from the real Quran. Rizvi claims he pulled out verses that allegedly promotes extremism and brotherhood.
Waseem Rizvi requested Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make his version of Quran a part of Islamic education curriculum in india, saying it will play a part in changing Muslim ideology.
The Islamic teaching says that the equality of brotherhood and such verses will feed extremist thinking in Muslim youth and Muslim Community around the world, said Waseem Rizvi.
