Indian Govt Furious Over Remarks Of UNGA Chief On Kashmir Issue

United Nations General Assembly President “Volkan Bozkir” received backlash from India after Authorities of Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) opposed Chief’s favorable advisory regarding how to raise Kashmir issue at the world forum comparing it to the Palestine issue which he addressed in a joint press conference with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on his three-day visit to Pakistan on Thursday.

He accused India of attempting to absorb the territory without bilateral resolution of the ongoing dispute refering to revocation of constitutional status of Indian occupied Kashmir in 2019. While, a day before, Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar accused Pakistan of infiltration because of which firing incidents take place at the Line of Control (LoC).

However, Foreign Ministry of Pakistan categorically rejected the allegations of any cross-border infiltration from Pakistan and advised India to create a peaceful atmosphere to resolve the Kashmir dispute rather than reiterating allegations against Pakistan.
