Who Is Stopping Imran Khan From Increasing The Exports Of Pakistan

0

Despite the unwillingness of PM Imran Khan, govt may approach IMF if we fail to boost our exports
But who is stopping us?
We have the 5th biggest population which is our workforce yet we produce less than those countries having less workforce than us.
Shameful isn’t it?

Total export of Pakistan is $32 bil, with 223 mil population which is 5th highest in the world when it comes to export we are ranked above 65th position.

What is even worse that countries with less population than Pakistan, smaller than Pakistan & fewer resources than Pakistan export more than Pakistan.

Let’s talk about Slovakia, a country with 5.4 million population but the total export is
$90 billion.
What they produce and export is automobiles, machineries and electronic gadgets.

Our Nation loves buying & importing new cars but we never mind producing one, a nation that can produce ballistic missiles can’t produce its own car.

There is another country with 4.9 million population and they make $31 billion by just exporting blood.
This county is Ireland, with this small population they also export pharmaceutical and chemical products which make their total export $190 billion.

Qatar is another country with less population than Pakistan i.e 2.9 million. Their total export is $56 billion, they export natural gas, steel and fertilizers. Even we are importing gas from Qatar.

Finland, a country with 5.5 million generates $74 billion by just exporting refined petroleum, which is not even their own extraction. They import oil from Oman and Russia and export it after refining it. Stainless steel and chemical products is also their export.

Poland, a country with 38 million population earns $300 billion by exporting automobile spare parts, poshish seats and furnitures. Countries far from Poland and near to Pakistan imports these goods from Poland instead of Pakistan, that’s a big question mark on our diplomacy.

Here comes Holland, the country once we wanted to boycott because of their anti Islam activities.
With 17.44 million they earn $674 billion by exporting refined petroleum just like Finland, cheese and scrap metal.

We have a higher population than these countries mentioned above (which is our workforce), we have resources, we have a jobless generation, we have civil servants who clear the toughest CSS exams, what we don’t have is a leader who can utilise the capabilities of this Nation.

But the main problem is when an ordinary person tries to start a business, the officials he has to deal with are not cooperative at all. The amount of fraud and pending cases is another reason fellow Pakistanis fear investing in Pakistan.

What Pakistan needs is quality control and encouragement to produce things locally instead of depending on imports. PM Imran Khan should focus more on using his influence to agree friendly countries to import Pakistani products at a cheaper cost instead of asking for bailout packages.

Pakistan can provide products cheaper than China as the minimum wage in China is 1,620 yuan (Rs 45k). Pakistani labour gets a minimum wage of Rs 25k or less which is cheaper than China. Pakistan is just a leadership away from becoming one of the best economies in the world.
