A candidate named Mohammad Zakriya Khan from JUI-F who won the seat of General Councillor was hit by a stray bullet.

The candidate Mohammad Zakriya Khan won the seat from a local village in Peshawar. Following Zakriya’s victory, his supporters started celebratory gunfire.

According to the eyewitnesses, police were present near the scene of the celebratory gunfire but they took no action. A few minutes after, the triumph turned into a tragedy when Zakriya was hit by a stray bullet and lost his life.

Pakistan has more cryptocurrencies than its foreign reserves in the State Bank of Pakistan. The revelation came after the research of The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).

The president of FPCCI Nasir Hayat Magoon in a press conference stated that their research shows the Pakistani Nation possesses $20 billion of cryptocurrency.

FPCCI president also indicated a problem that Pakistanis cannot cash their cryptocurrencies in Pakistan due to its legitimacy.

He urged the government to form a policy so people of Pakistan can cash their cryptocurrencies in Pakistan instead of Dubai, like India has a policy for cryptocurrency holders in India.

Pakistan Launches Islamabad To Istanbul Train Service

The wait is over, Pakistan took another major step to connect Pakistan with Turkey, Iran, and regional countries through train service.

Pakistan on Tuesday launched a cargo train service from Margalla Railway Station, Islamabad. The train service will boost the trade between Pakistan, Turkey, and Iran.

The freight train known as Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul (ITI) will start its journey from Islamabad and reach Zahedan, Iran. After arriving in Iran, the goods will be lifted by a Turkish train and it will reach its ultimate destination.

The ITI train is said to be one of the cheapest ways to transport goods between Pakistan, Iran, and Turkey. The director-general of ITI stated that it can carry up to 80,000 tonnes of goods.
