The authorities were quick to apprehend a man within hours after the helicopter crash. Soon in a series of raids, Indian law enforcement agencies arrested 7 more people for posting offensive content on Bipin Rawat.

The government of Punjab briefed the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on the upcoming threat to the groundwater of Lahore and the surrounding cities.
