British High Commissioner to Pakistan seen picking up litter from Margalla Hills

British High Commissioner to Pakistan showed some laudable effort to teach Pakistani nation the important lesson of cleanliness. He quoted the famous saying of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) “Saafai nisf imaan hai” (cleanliness is half of faith) to remind us of our religious values associated with cleanliness.

Christian Turner, who has been the British High commissioner to Pakistan since December 2019, visited Margalla Hills today. He witnessed environmental pollution due to littering. Turner took garbage bags without hesitation and started filling them up with litter.

Turner managed to fill two garbage bags while cleaning the area and posted the pictures on his official Twitter handle to make the nation realise that how they were destroying their own environment. Turner had uploaded similar pictures last week as well after collecting two bags of rubbish on Margalla hills.
