Stop Blaming Pakistan For Afghan Issue, Says US Senator

Christopher Van Hollen is an American attorney and politician serving as the junior United States Senator from Maryland, since January 3, 2017.

On Friday, he asked to stop pointing fingers at Pakistan. He said that as a result of former president Donald Trump’s withdrawal agreement, Afghan Taliban came to power in Afghanistan.

According to details, Former President Trump agreed to a flawed withdrawal agreement with the Taliban, that agreement also helped them to attain power, he steeply criticized the controversial Afghan bill.

Tahir Javed, a Pakistani-born Democrat leader said that Republican Senators did not take consultation from Democrats over the controversial bill. The bill was to inspect the situation leading to the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.
