Russia Calls An Independent Palestinian State Only Way To Achieve Peace

The Russian Foreign Ministry, represented by spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, has issued a statement regarding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, emphasizing their unwavering stance.

Russia has expressed deep concern over the situation in the conflict zone and resolutely maintains that violence is not a viable solution to this ongoing problem.

According to Zakharova, the Russian government firmly believes that there can be no lasting peace in the region without addressing the core issue of Palestinian statehood.

She underlined the importance of a diplomatic negotiation process as the exclusive avenue toward a peaceful resolution. In line with international consensus, Russia advocates for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, encompassing the borders of 1967 and with East Jerusalem designated as its capital.

This statement reiterates Russia’s commitment to fostering stability and peace in the Middle East and reaffirms its dedication to finding a just and equitable resolution to the protracted Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
