According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, 3600 Palestinian Children were martyred by Israeli forces in just 19 days.
In just 19 days, spanning from October 7 to October 25, there were a devastating 7,028 casualties, with 2,913 of them being children, as a result of Israeli attacks on Gaza. The current death Toll in Palestine has however crossed the mark of 11,000.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health provided these harrowing figures. On October 26, the ministry released a comprehensive report, which includes the names, ages, gender, and ID numbers of 6,747 of these victims. A significant number of Palestinian are buried in the rubles of the buildings and the number is still unknown.
It is essential for the world to recognize that behind each number lies a unique story of a person whose identity is known, emphasized the ministry’s spokesperson.
Recent days have witnessed an escalation of Israeli military operations in Gaza, extending to both aerial and ground assaults, even impacting civilian areas such as houses and hospitals. Palestinian Children were considering to be the most vulnerable to these strikes, according to UN reports.
Internation groups working for children rights have also shown concerns regarding the safety of Palestinian Children. Save The Children, an organization working for children rights in a statement asked Israel to immediately stop bombing civilian residential buildings to stop killings of innocent childrens. UNHCR also asked Israel to refrain from attacking the Palestinian Children.
Gaza had been enduring relentless air raids since the surprise attack by the Palestinian group Hamas on October 7, resulting in the tragic loss of at least 1,405 lives in Israel, according to Israeli officials.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry’s estimates, on a daily basis, there are the following grim statistics:-
15 people lose their lives, including 6 Palestinian children.
35 people sustain injuries
42 bombs are dropped
12 buildings are destroyed.
