Security forces have killed 15 terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were conducted in Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan districts between November 15 and 16.In Dera Ismail Khan’s Kulachi area, troops carried out an operation, killing 10 terrorists, including Alam Mehsud, a key figure in the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), dawn news reported
The ISPR referred to the terrorists as belonging to the “Fitna al Khawarij,” a term used to describe TTP militants.
In a separate operation in North Waziristan’s Datta Khel area, security forces killed five more terrorists. The ISPR stated that the operations were intelligence-driven and aimed at eliminating terrorist elements in the region.
