Sohail Afridi Announces To Visit Karachi After Lahore Visit

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi announced that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will continue its street protests to push the government for talks.

Afridi emphasized that reconciliation is impossible without resistance and the protest movement will persist until the government recognizes the opposition as an equal partner.

Afridi stated that PTI won’t engage in dialogue without demonstrating its opposition to the status quo through street protests.

He added that talks can only be meaningful if individuals with power and influence are included.

During his visit he critized both the federal government for it’s economic policies, while decrying the misconduct of Punjab government. The PTI leader criticized the government’s handling of national assets and accused ruling parties of corruption and economic mismanagement.

In an X post, Sohail Afridi announced plans to visit Karachi as part of the street movement.
