Basima Balochistan: Army Leadership in Action Under the Leadership of Lt Gen Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan. On 12 Jan 2026, Lt Gen Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan, Commander 12 Corps, personally visited Basima City, meeting traders, teachers, youth, and local leaders.
This was more than a routine visit, it was a strong message of presence, trust, and commitment.
Locals praised the outreach as a real step toward confidence-building, addressing grievances, and strengthening bonds. The Commander highlighted that Army and civil administration development projects are actively improving facilities and opportunities in the area.
He exposed Indian-backed terrorists attempting to sabotage progress and spread fear, warning that their hostile designs will fail. With local security forces ensuring peace, he assured that the people’s concerns will receive immediate resolution.
This visit of Commander 12 Corps reaffirmed a clear truth: in Basima or any other corner of Balochistan, the Army is a partner of the people, a shield against sabotage, and a driver of lasting development and stability.
