41 India Backed Terrorists Killed By Pakistani Forces In Balochistan Operations

RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed 41 Indian-backed militants in two intelligence-based operations in Balochistan on January 29, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday, reaffirming the military’s resolve to eliminate terrorism.

In a statement, the military’s media wing said the militants belonged to Indian proxies Fitna al-Khwarij and Fitna al-Hindustan. The first intelligence-based operation took place on the outskirts of Harnai district after reports of Fitna al-Khwarij’s presence in the area.

During the operation, security forces engaged a militant hideout, triggering an intense exchange of fire that resulted in the killing of 30 Indian-sponsored Khwarij militants. Troops recovered a large cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives from the site, which they destroyed on the spot, the ISPR said.

In a separate intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district, security forces raided another militant hideout and killed 11 Indian-sponsored militants affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan. The forces also recovered weapons, ammunition and looted money taken during a bank robbery in Panjgur on December 15, 2025. According to the ISPR, the militants were involved in multiple terrorist activities.

The military said sanitisation operations were underway to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored militants in the area.

“The relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ by Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the ISPR added.
