Islamabad — 10 Injured after an explosion at the Tarlai Imambargah, located in the Shehzad Town area of the federal capital.
Police and rescue services reached the site soon after the incident and began rescue operations. The injured are being shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) and Polyclinic Hospital.
An emergency has been imposed at Pims, Polyclinic, and CDA Hospital In Islamabad. A spokesperson for Pims confirmed that, on the directives of the executive director, the hospital’s main emergency, orthopaedic, burn centre, and neurology departments have been activated.
The incident comes less than three months after a suicide blast outside a district and sessions court in Islamabad’s G-11 area on November 11, 2025, which killed 12 people and injured more than 30.
