Marka-e-Haq is an event of immense pride for the Pakistani nation across the globe as it proved and established the military might and professionalism of the Armed Forces of Pakistan. It marked a phenomenal chapter in the history where despite exhibiting a calculated response, Pakistan perfectly established an example that any act of aggression against the country shall be countered with immediate and swift action.
Pakistan emerged as a responsible nation in the international arena which aims and strives for the promotion of peace worldwide; however, at the same time it is absolutely determined to defend and protect the motherland and its citizens, at all costs, in case of any foreign aggression. From the expression of military strength till effective diplomacy, Pakistan has shown exemplary character.
The relations between the two South-Asian neighbors, Pakistan and India, have remained strained since the creation of the two States in August 1947. Multiple factors have exacerbated the tensions between the two sides from time to time, including the historical reasons classified by the bloodshed at the time of partition, followed by unequal distribution of assets, dispute over accession of princely states including Kashmir which is the jugular vein of Pakistan, and water disputes and many others. Furthermore, Pakistan and India fought 3 full-scale wars in the years of 1947-1948, 1965 and 1971; and two limited wars in the years 1999 and 2025. In recent escalation of April-May 2025 between the two sides the relations between them worsened on April 22, 2025, after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in which 26 tourists died.
Marka-e-Haq characterizes the time duration from April 22-May 10, 2025, which is associated with period of conflict between the two sides. It also played a pivotal role in reshaping the power dynamics within South Asia as Pakistan has the absolute capability and potential to defeat even a larger enemy in all the spheres, including air, land, sea and also cyber warfare.
May 10, 2025, marked the initiation of Operation Bunyan-al-Marsoos by Armed Forces of Pakistan which led to a decisive victory for the entire Pakistani nation. It was commenced to respond to the cowardly attacks by India on the nights of May 6-7, 2025, which were solely acts of terrorism and unprovoked aggression against the innocent civil population inhabiting Azad Kashmir and Pakistani areas, resulting in civilian casualties including women as well as children. It was a clear violation of the territorial integrity of Pakistan and then the historic days of May 8-9, 2025, witnessed the preparation of the decisive response which Pakistan was to initiate.
May 10, 2025, marked another milestone for the Pakistani nation. It was the commencement of Operation Bunyan-al-Marsoos in which twenty-six military installations of the enemy were struck. Furthermore, the Brahmos missile sites which were located at Beas and Nagrota were completely destroyed. In addition, multiple airforce as well as aviation bases of the enemy were targeted including Suratgarh, Sirsa, Adampur, Bhooj, Nalia, Bathinda, Barnala, Halwara, Srinagar, Jammu, Mamoon, Ambala, Avantipura, Udampur and Pathankot.
A war between two nuclear states is unimaginable, however, in order to stop a foreign aggressor from challenging the territorial sovereignty of a nation, it was extremely necessary for Pakistan to teach a lesson to the aggressor. Pakistan portrayed a mature response in all the dimensions with perfect integration between all the sectors. Armed Forces of Pakistan, the civilian leadership and the society were woven together. Pakistan Airforce, setting the bars high with extreme precision and professionalism, successfully downed a number of advanced aircrafts of the Indian Airforce including Rafale.
Moreover, drone warfare was also witnessed, as violation of Pakistani airspace by Indian drones was observed which was responded by Pakistani armed drones in dozens which hovered over several enemy cities thereby displaying enormous military strength over the enemy in drone warfare as well. Moreover, Pakistan Navy also proved that quality always outweighs quantity, and the Sea frontiers were also well protected by constant monitoring during the entire episode of escalation.

The enthusiasm of youth was top-notch from North to South and from East to West, every heart prayed for the success of Pakistani forces. Furthermore, during Operation Bunyan-al-Marsoos efficient cyber operations were launched by Armed Forces of Pakistan.
Moreover, Pakistani Media emerged as a highly responsible and professional media and focused on spreading authentic information in contrary to the Indian media which was constantly spreading misinformation and propagating fake news thereby highly involved in fake propaganda.
Marka-e-Haq is a symbol of national pride. It is another achievement for the brave nation who is ever ready to defend their homeland till the last drop of their blood. Moreover, it also exhibited exemplary social cohesion in society in times of challenges whether internal or external. The high expertise and professionalism of the Armed Forces of Pakistan coupled with the unity and integration among the entire nation was the major driving force behind enormous success.
Pakistan has effectively proven itself in multi-domain warfare. Marka-e-Haq has also defined airpower of Pakistan as extremely powerful and highly precise. Furthermore, it is also a firm reminder to all those with impure intentions that any act of aggression shall be met with immediate and complete force. Despite superiority in terms of military capabilities and potential, Pakistan displayed “Strategic Maturity” and aimed not to escalate the matters beyond a certain threshold rather it adopted the principle of deterrence, played a mature role in de-escalation and thereby contributed towards regional stability.
