At the time when International Cricket in Pakistan is in crisis due to the Western bloc, PTI and PPP have agreed to play a friendly cricket match on the lawn of the Governor House. This decision of the Government and opposition is an act to support Pakistan cricket.
PPP’s member of the provincial assembly, Ali Haider Gillani, in a press conference along with PTI’s provincial minister and spokesperson of the Punjab government, Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan, made an announcement that they are willing to play a friendly cricket to support a national cause.
Last week PTI minister Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan invited several party leaders from the opposition and proposed a friendly match to support Pakistan cricket. PPP becomes the first party to accept this invitation for a national cause. While PML-N stated that the government call us thieves and also wants us to join them in cricket.
