The deceased Sri Lankan manager was accused of blasphemy. The mob of extremists lynched the manager and his dead body was set on fire.
Malik Adnan works in the same Rajco industry as a production manager where the Sri Lankan manager used to work as General Manager. Malik Adnan was alone against the mob to protect the Sri Lankan manager.

His bravery was noticed by the netizens and people praised him for showing courage and humanity while he was alone against the crowd of the extremist mob.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also tweeted and said on behalf of the nation I salute Malik Adnan. Imran Khan acknowledged his efforts to save human life and said that the government of Pakistan will award him Tamgha i Shujaat for showing courage and bravery.
Pakistani Intelligence had arrested three retired military officers and a human rights activist as a suspect of espionage.
The three convicted retired military officers are Lt Col (R) Faiz Rasool: 14 yrs Lt Col (R) Akmal: 10 yrs Maj (R) Saifuddin: 12 yrs. The human Rights activist was arrested along with the 3 retired military officers but local NGOs claimed that the activist is missing.
Local NGOs demanded the recovery of missing Human Rights activist known as Idris Khattak. All four accused were being trialed in military courts of Pakistan
As per sources, the accused were tried under Pakistan Army Act and Official Secrets Act, and the verdict of all four accused was pronounced this week by sentencing them to 14-years imprisonment.

Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted that the horrific incident against the Sri Lankan General Manager of the industry is shameful for Pakistan. He assured swift justice, arrest, and punishment to culprits.
Nearly 50 accused were identified and arrested within a few hours. Following the quick development, Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Pakistan Vice Admiral (R) Mohan Wijewickrama appreciate Prime Minister Imran Khan for taking quick action against this injustice.

In a seminar in Islamabad talking about the use of tobacco, Dr. Nausheen said women who are addicted to smoking are not accepted by their in-laws hence they end up getting divorced.
