Military Must Return The Military Lands Not Being Used For Military Purpose, Says Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed

Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed on Tuesday said that the military land being used for commercial purposes is not allowed by the law.

Chief justice headed a bench of the Supreme Court along with two more judges to hear the case of military lands being used for commercial purposes. The other two judges with Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed are known as Qazi Mohammad Amin Ahmed and Justice Ijazul Ahsan.

The chief justice held Defence Secretary Lt Gen (R) Mian Mohammad Hilal Hussain answerable for the establishment of commercial activities on military lands. Justice Gulzar Ahmed also added if the land is not being used for military purposes then it will go back to the government.

The princess has named the group Angels Of Mercy, which will be responsible to find Islamophobes with proof and report them to the official website of Dubai police. We will capture and deport the hatemongers from UAE, said Princess Hend.

A rare judgment was seen at the consumer court of the Mandi Bahauddin. Reportedly, a judge of Mandi Bahauddin consumer court sentenced two high-ranking bureaucrats to 3 months of jail.

As per reports, Deputy Commissioner Tariq Ali Basra along with Assistant Commissioner Imtiaz Baig were the two ranking bureaucrats who were sentenced to three months of jail.

Following the protest of fuel dealers across Pakistan, the Federal Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar clarified that government is in negotiation with the petroleum dealer association.

According to the Minister, few companies are pressurizing the government to increase their profit margin per liter. The proposed profit margin is Rs, 9 per liter which the consumer will have to pay.

Hammad Azhar also added the demand to increase profit margin will be discussed in Economic Coordination Committee (ECC), however, the government will accept legal demands but will not allow a rise in fuel price to benefit a few companies.
