Hindutwa Extremists has come up with a violent hatred against FabIndia, one of the renowned and leading clothing brands of India. It has hundreds of showrooms across the country however, last week for advertising the latest seasonal collection for Diwali, it has been confronting severe hatred from Hindu Nationalists.

The company has have used Urdu words for advertising purposes, the text used in the advertisement read as ‘Jashn-e-Rivaaz’. The word ‘Jashn’ means ‘celebration’ and ‘Rivaaz’ means ‘Tradition’ in Urdu. Hence the phrase translates as ‘A Celebration of Tradition’.

However, a young parliamentarian of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tajasvi Surya who is in highlights cause of his Islamophobic remarks, was not happy with it. He tweeted on social media, “Deepavali is not Jashn-e-Riwaaz”, where Deepavali is the traditional name of Diwali.

Moreover, many other leaders from BJP and Hindu Nationalists have also started accusing and harassing FabIndia of hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus.

Furthermore, Nivedita Menon from Jawaharlal Nehru University at New Delhi told Al Jazeera that, “The Hindutva project sees Urdu as a ‘Muslim’ language. And invisibilizing Urdu is part of the larger project of marginalizing the Muslim community, in fact, physically eliminating it.”

Pakistan’s victory over India in the recent T20 World Cup match has caused a stir among the Indians. So far, seven people have been booked and 4 have been arrested by the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Police for supporting and celebrating Pakistan’s victory.

The cricket match held on October 24th between the two arch-rivals has been a hot topic since then. However, the Indian authorities got enraged over the fans who were showing their support for the Pakistani team and raised anti-India slogans. The incident led to the registration of FIRs against the people and four of them have been arrested so far.

The Chief Minister of UP has also passed a statement saying that sedition law will be invoked against those celebrating Pakistan’s victory. The ones arrested include a private school teacher in Rajasthan’s Udaipur, and three engineering students from Raja Balwant Singh Management Technical Campus for posting objectionable statements on social media, as well as for raising anti-national slogans.

The important sections under which the arrests were conducted include sections 153 A, 66 F, 505 (1)(B) because of cyber terrorism, promoting enmity between different groups, and for an act that is likely to cause fear or alarm in the public.

Prime Minister Imran Khan praised Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman for assisting Pakistan by depositing $3 billion in the State Bank of Pakistan and deferring payment of $1.2 billion in oil supplies.

Saudi Arabia has backed Pakistan in difficult times, Imran Khan noted in a tweet today. Especially now as the world grapples with rising commodity prices, he added.

Saudi Arabia has agreed to provide $3 billion deposits to Pakistan. The money will be used to shore up the country’s foreign exchange reserves. This package from Saudi Arabia is expected to go a long way to accomplish the sixth review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF)..

Fawad Chaudhary, the Minister of information, also announced ton Twitter that the agreement has reached with Riyadh. He tweeted, “Saudi Arabia” announced support to Pakistan with a 3 billion dollar deposit in the Pakistan central bank and financing refined petroleum products with 1-2 billion dollars this year.

The facility according to Minister of Energy Hammad Azhar, will help relieve strains on trade and foreign accounts as a result of the global commodities price spike.

Finance Minister Shoukat Tarin and Energy Minister Hammad Azhar will have a press conference today to further elaborate the media about the benefits of the agreement.

Another extreme step was taken by extremist fans of the indian cricket team after the humiliating defeat of India against Pakistan.

The Desh Bhakt, an Indian YouTuber took on Twitter to call Pakistan’s victory an international conspiracy against India.

The Desh Bhakt also targeted Pepsi and accused them of playing a major role in this conspiracy by sponsoring Pakistan Cricket Team.

The YouTuber further called for boycotting Pepsi and Indian social media endorsed his call for boycott and since a campaign is in progress to stop buying Pepsi across India.

An ICC T20 World Cup cricket match was held between arch rivals Pakistan and India yesterday. Pakistan beat India in that match ruthlessly. Pakistan-India encounter in cricket battlefield is the most anticipated one by millions of cricket fans across the Indo-Pak borders.

After Pakistan’s cricket team victory by 10 wickets over the Indian team in T20 Worldcup 2021, the chaos has been heightened within India. Indian Social media has been flooded with the trending tweets of ‘Ghaddar’ and ‘Indian Muslims’.

The two countries have the greatest rivalries, encountering several factors for their rising tensions, either it’s New Delhi blaming Islamabad for militant attacks in the country or territorial dispute of the Kashmir issue.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Sheikh Rasheed gave a statement, “Pakistan triumph against India is victory of Islam and Muslims throughout the world rejoices.”

Resultantly, a storm of social media abuses was fired at Indian bowler Mohammed Shami, the only Muslim player of team India. Moreover, the Indian leaders have had already called the team to boycott the game before the match, but efforts got insane. However, after the defeat of the Indian cricket team, violence against Muslims and Kashmiris in India has been reported in various parts of the country.
