Two Pakistani Civilians Martyred, One Injured in BSF Firing Near Kasur Border

KASUR: Two unarmed Pakistani civilians were martyred and another was injured when India’s Border Security Force (BSF) opened fire near the Pakistan-India international border in Kasur, security sources said.

According to the sources, three residents of Ladhar village had moved only a few steps beyond a border pillar when BSF personnel fired on them without any warning. All three men were unarmed, and the sources said none of them had tried to cross the border fence.

The martyred have been identified as Azmat Rasool, son of Attaullah, and Mohsin Jutt, both residents of Jattan Wali Haveli in Ladhar.

Security sources said the incident is a violation of the border agreement and of the standard operating procedures governing the Pakistan-India international border.

Continuing its tradition of a false-flag narrative, Indian media branded the innocent civilians as alleged infiltrators, the sources added.
