India: Aligarh To be Renamed Harigarh by Hindutva Govt

0

Aligarh’s Zila Panchayat had passed a resolution on this Monday, which aimed at changing the name of District from “Aligarh” to “Harigarh”.

Earlier this Tuesday, the President of Aligarh’s Zila Panchayat Vijay Singh talked about the meeting that was held on Monday. He told about the resolution being passed for the renaming of district from Aligarh to Harigarh in the meeting. He further said that this renaming is based on the popular demand of the residents of the District. Moreover, he stated that the resolution has been passed unanimously and he was confident about the approval of the resolution by the CM.

As per a report by Hindustan times, 50 out of 72 members supported this proposal, and the resolution was passed in the very first meeting. In another proposal, it was suggested to change the name of Aligarh Airport after Kalyan Singh who is a BJP led CM of the state and a resident of Aligarh district.

Earlier this month, Panchayat of Ferozabad district had also passed a resolution to change the district’s name into Chandra Nagar.

This chain of renaming districts started in 2017 when Yogi Adityanath’s led Government took power. Many districts had been renamed from Allahabad, Faizabad, Mughalsarai to Prayaraj, Ayodhya, and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Nagar respectively.

Changing names of only those districts which are based on Muslim names unveiled the Anti-Islamic and fascist regime of Gujarat’s butcher, Narendra Modi.

BJP focusing on such issues while ignoring the development of the state has been criticised by the opposition.

BLA Terrorists In Afghanistan Ask International Community To Ensure Their Safety Amid A Transition of Power in The Country

0

Hundreds of Baloch fugitives belonging to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a terrorist organisation, had been living in Afghanistan for the last many years, and they are now asking the international community to ensure their safety amid the continuously changing situation in the country.

India was amongst the prime supporters and sponsors of the Tehreek E Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other anti-Pakistan terrorist organisations including BLA, and had been providing weapons and funds to them. The terrorist groups used Indian aid to carry out terrorist attacks in Pakistan, killing innocent civilians and attacking LEAs, with the full backing of the previous Afghan government that saw the neighbouring Pakistan as an enemy and was actively involved in trying to destabilise the country.

However, after the overthrow of Ashraf Ghani’s government in Afghanistan and the subsequent takeover by the Afghan Taliban, the Indian aid to the terrorist groups including, BLA and TTP, was terminated, the reason being the neoteric upsurge of the Afghan Taliban, which got India worried about the aftermath of their support to the terrorist groups.

India has closed down its embassy and consulates in Afghanistan and pulled back its diplomats and agents from Afghanistan. The proceeding has thus left the BLA militants vulnerable under the new Afghan regime.

BLA groups, abandoned and left unsupported, have appealed to the foreign communities to assure their safety in the attack-prone area.

United States of America has spent more than 88 billion dollars on the Afghan army to keep them well equipped and for their better training, all this account 2/3 of foreign aid since 2002. A US veteran has questioned the expenditure that if so much money was spent on training Afghan Army than why it collapsed in just one month infront of Afghan Taliban.

The distinct U.S. state watchdog for Afghan reconstruction has stated that corrosive effects of corruption have been found within the ranks and the accuracy of given data about the strength of the Afghan Army is also questionable. It cited that fake personnel records have were made by corrupt actors to pocket the salaries. It was further stated in its July report to congress that there may be also a lack in the will to fight.

The incredible failure to cast a cohesive and independent Afghan fighting force can be traced to years of assured evaluations from the US officials that remain enigmatic. Proofs of deep-rooted corruption, low morale and even ghost soldiers and police who existed merely on wages of the Afghan defence and Interior Ministries. All these pieces of evidence were observed by former officials, who were directly involved in the training efforts.

Imran Khan said I felt that despite being Pakistani, there were many differences between both of us because of different curriculums.

Imran Khan added that getting rid of mental slavery is more difficult than physical slavery and Afghanistan has successfully broken the chain of slavery that was leading them to mental slavery.
