PTI MNA, TV host and Scholar, Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain is reported to be fired from “Express TV”. Sources state that he has been fired due to his controversies and problematic media coverage.

Amir Liaquat had a contract with Express TV that was suddenly terminated. However, there has been no official announcement yet. According to sources, Amir Liaquat’s indecency and personal controversies are the reason behind his termination. It has been also reported that recently he unfollowed the official Instagram account of Express TV. Aamir Liaquat’s suspension from Express TV is unsurprising, given his history of making controversial statements and his unprofessional behaviour on air.

He was involved in numerous controversies because of his unethical behavior with female guests during his show “Jeeway Pakistan”. His over frankness and flirtatious behaviour with Saboor Aly in an episode offended the actress but she ignored it many times with patience.

Apart from this, the PTI MNA was also named in a controversy in which an actress named Haniya Khan claimed to be his third wife. The controversy ended after Haniya’s father denied her allegations about Amir Liaquat.
However, official statements are yet to be made but the repeated controversies that Aamir Liaquat has been involved in have damaged his reputation and that is the most probable reason for his termination.

Pakistan ruled out the possibility of allowing the US to use its soil for drone attacks. Pakistani Government Officials have told CIA chief in his secret visit to Islamabad that they would not allow the kinetic use of drones, nor were they interested in monitoring them.

According to an article published on 6th of June, CIA Director William Burns had travelled to Pakistan for a meeting with Government officials. CIA is said to be looking for bases around Afghanistan from where it can execute counter-terrorism strikes after its withdrawal from the Region.

The New York Times article had one point where surprisingly American officials believed that Pakistan may agree to host the bases with conditions unacceptable for US. Pakistani officials quietly clarified the position of Pakistan to dispel the rumours regarding discussions or negotiations at any level on hosting of airbases. The issue had been under discussion for the past two weeks at different levels.

CIA Director wanted to meet Pakistan PM Imran khan, but Pakistan insisted on a meeting between the government heads instead. Pakistan clearly conveyed the message that “No US operation would be allowed on Pakistan’s soil”. Pakistan will look after its own interests.

Hamid Mir, who recently accused Pakistan Army of committing violence against journalists and imposing restrictions on freedom of speech, finally apologises for the baseless allegations he had made. Mir found himself in hot water after his ‘below the belt’ remarks against Pakistan Army

Many journalists stepped forward to condemn Hamid Mir’s false accusations and asked him to come up with proof to back up his outrageous claims. Mir was also fired from Geo News following his abusive tirade against the military.

Days after making baseless allegations, Hamid Mir finally apologised for his ‘hate speech’ against the Pakistan army and said that his speech wasn’t meant to spread hatred against army or hurt the sentiments of the nation.

After facing extreme hate for the last 4 days, today Malala Yousafzai tweeted a gif that depicts that everybody is jealous of her, everyone is upset with Malala but Malala is having fun and she doesn’t care about any criticism.

Malala in her interview with British vogue told her views about marriage and said: “If you want to have a person in your life, why do you have to sign marriage papers, why can’t it just be a partnership?”
This statement of Malala caused a stir and there was chaos everywhere. Malala had to go through a lot of criticism in Pakistan because her statement was indicative of anti-Islamic views.

Breaking her silence, she tweeted today, which clearly shows that she stands by her word, she has no regrets or embarrassment. Malala Yousafzai is confident about her statement and she does not care about people who envy her.
