Tourism sector alone can repay the entire external debt of Pakistan, PM Imran Khan

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday during a speech at the inauguration ceremony of Kohsar University said that tourism sector alone can repay the entire external debt of Pakistan if this sector works perfectly.

Imran Khan said Kohsar University is a step towards tourism in Pakistan which is the future and it will be very important key to promote tourism in Pakistan as well. Giving example of Switzerland, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that they annually earn from $60 billion to $80 billion only from tourism and Switzerland is a country which is half of Pakistan’s Northern areas.

Unfortunately, Pakistan never worked on tourism sector therefore the burden of tourist always falls on Murree and Murree all alone cannot take all this burden of tourism. Now it’s important that Pakistan must work on tourism.

Pakistani medical student survives acid attack in US

Pakistani medical student, Nafiah Fatima, 21, was attacked with acid outside her home in New York. The attack almost took her life after acid went inside her mouth chocking her during the attack.

This is the 3rd attack on Pakistani nationals in America and the US authorities and media are nowhere to be seen. Nafiah is seriously injured due to this acid attack and she needs to undergo plastic surgery.

Pakistani community in USA is helping her to raise funds for her case and medical treatment.

India claims to have arrested another Pakistani spy pigeon

According to India Today, Indian forces captured a Pakistani spy pigeon on April 17. Pigeon was allegedly carrying a piece of paper tied with the leg of pigeon when it was captured from international border.

It is also reported that the pigeon came and sat on the shoulder of a constable when he was performing his duty at camp guard post which is almost 500 meters away from the border.

According to the FIR, there was a suspicious piece of white paper wrapped with a tape on the pigeon, the tape had some number on it. The pigeion is currently under custody at Kahagarh police station, Amritsar.

Indian film director Hansal Mehta comes under fire for comparing India’s covid-19 situation with Pakistan

Indian film director Hansal Mehta faced outrage and criticism for a tweet that came after lockdown was imposed in several parts of india.

Hansal raised a question regarding to the situation in India and tweeted “Just wondering, is it as bad in Pakistan as it is in India currently? The covid situation I mean”.

This tweet didn’t go well for Hansal as Indian netizens soon expressed their outrage due to him comparing India’s situation with Pakistan. One twitter user offered Hansal one-way ticket to Pakistan if he agreed to move Pakistan permanently since he believe situation in Pakistan is better than India.

Pakistan puts travel ban on India

Pakistan’s National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday imposed travel ban on India for two weeks due to rising covid-19 cases in India.The meeting was chaired by NCOC chief Asad Umar who is also the Minister for Planning and Development.

Statement issued by NCOC said that new Indian variant which is double mutant variant is considered responsible for India’s current situation in this pandemic.The forum has placed India in C Category countries, review of this Category countries will be carried out on 21st April, the NCOC stated.

France recalls 15 of its diplomats from Pakistan

The recall of diplomats is the latest episode in the deterioration of bilateral relations between the two countries. It illustrates Paris’ impatience in the face of a crisis that has lasted for more than five months following French President Emmanuel Macron’s comments on the right to caricature of Islamic prophet Muhammad (PBUH). 

The French decision is extremely rare: even when the country was the scene of regular attacks during the insurgency between the army and the Pakistani Taliban in 2008, the French authorities had not repatriated their staff. By recalling fifteen diplomats, the Quai d’Orsay denotes a change in its diplomacy in South Asia which is increasingly aligned with that of India, reported leading french daily newspaper Le Figaro

Imran Khan to launch international campaign to stop blasphemous acts against Islam taking place in the western world

“Its my promise to my nation that I will launch a campaign that will not allow anyone in this world to dishonour our Holy Prophet”, Prime Minister Imran Khan said in a speech. Khan said that burning your own country will not affect those who are dishonouring Prophets Muhammad (Peace and Blessing be Upon Him). We will include every Muslim head of state in our campaign and present our case in the United Nations to stop this blasphemy and we will create a pressure, for which I have already written letters to the Muslim heads of the states. When we destroy our own country it won’t affect those who are doing blasphemy but when Muslim leaders will unite, it will create an impact that will be effective and this will be the real change.

Workers of banned TLP abducted and tortured DSP Nawankot, claims Police

Punjab Police in a press release stated that TLP protestors attacked Nawankot Police Station in Lahore where police and rangers were present and stuck due to TLP violent protests. Later TLP protestors abducted DSP Nawankot and forcefully took an oil tanker in their possession which was carrying 50,000 litres of gasoline. Later police force was attacked with petrol bombs when they tried to rescue their their DSP. Police launched an operation and rescued their DSP and took back possession of Nawankot Police Station.

Pentagon to increase troops in Afghanistan pending withdrawal

The Pentagon spokesperson stated that they will temporarily increase troops in Afghanistan to ensure safe withdrawal of US forces by September 2021.

Chief spokesperson Pentagon John Kirby declined to give any figure that how much troops they will deploy in coming weeks.

He said logically forces will need some help for withdrawal, probably some engineers and some protection forces but it is temporary only to ensure safe withdrawal.

Govt to take action against those who post Anti-Pakistan content on Social Media

Authorities have been instructed by the Interior Ministry to trace and arrest all those social media users posting content against Pakistan and encouraging violence against State, law enforcement agencies and public.As per notification any social media user who supports banned terrorist outfits or any other organisation who is encouraging violence against Law Enforcement Agencies or trying to ignite civil war will be arrested.The notification instructed authorities to collect footage of attackers and rioters and identify them through the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), and then arrest them under anti terrorism act (ATA)The Ministry also instructed to share the database of culprits with embassies in Pakistan so culprits won’t get visa of foreign countries or clearance from foreign security agencies.
